The lecture focuses on her development and growth as a practicing artist. Spanning almost thirty years, her works have included intensive use of fiber reactive dyes and textile paints, and many innovative art techniques. All will be discussed and revealed in this lecture. About Marjan Kluepfel:

Marjan Kluepfel was born in the Netherlands. She has lived in Florida, Hawaii, Australia and South Carolina. After working in academia for many years, she is now a full-time studio artist in Davis, CA. Marjan has been creating art quilts since 1990. Her work has been juried into many shows and she teaches her fabric art both nationally and internationally. Marjan’s work is for sale at the Artery in Davis, CA, and High Hand Gallery in Loomis, CA. She is a member of Studio Art Quilt Associates and the Northern California Quilt Council.
