We regularly invite SFQG Members to join us for a weekends of connection, community, and quilting.
Our retreats take two forms: QuiltAways and Guild GetAways. QuiltAways are multi-day workshops. We invite teachers to come and host 2 1-day classes or 1 2-day class. Guild GetAways are Open Studio. We invite members to bring current projects or UFOs that need a little inspiration.
Our retreats often host a free table, show & tell, evening programs, and other activities. The program areas have dedicated sewing spaces with extension cords, ironing stations, cutting stations, and design wall space. Typically, meals are provided for dinner on arrival day through lunch on departure day, including daily snacks.
Camp Newman
Camp Newman is a newly rebuilt retreat facility in the Santa Rosa hills. They offer beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, new accommodations, great food, and large program spaces.
Camp Newman is accessible for all mobility needs.
For most retreats, you can chose between shared or private accommodations.
