Among SFQG opportunities for learning and camaraderie, workshops present the specialties of quilt professionals from California, around the country and beyond, and charge a fee. At this time, our workshops are held virtually, from the comfort of your home. Workshops are open to both members and nonmembers.

Policies, Cancellations & Waitlists

Workshops are open to all guild members on a first-come basis. You must register with payment to confirm participation. Workshops are publicized to guild members first; two months prior to a given workshop, enrollment will be extended to the public, at a nonmember rate.

For the SFQG to host professional instructors, we need to cover instructor costs and for that reason, once you register there are no cancellations or refunds. Members may “transfer” their registration to another member; but the guild and its workshop chairs will not be responsible for this exchange, and all arrangements and funds must be exchanged between the individual guild members. Once members find someone to exchange with, they are responsible for alerting the Workshop chairs so they can notify new attendees all class information.

We maintain waitlists once workshops are full. Please contact the Workshop chairs at directly at workshops@sfquiltersguild.org to be placed on the waitlist. If an enrolled member is unable to find a replacement, they may contact the co-chairs to learn of any members on a waitlist.
