Welcome to the San Francisco Quilters Guild

The San Francisco Quilters Guild has embraced new forms of community while our usual in-person activities are on hold during the pandemic. Please stay safe—and stay connected with your fellow quilters—through these guild initiatives:

Our Tuesday October 19th meeting will feature a talk by Marty Ornish on Controversies in the World of Quilting. Free to members, $5 to nonmembersMembers will find the Zoom link under the Members Only tab and will also receive the link via eBlast.  Nonmembers may pay a $5 guest fee and register using this link.

Sew & Tell is now part of every monthly meeting. If you’d like to share your work, please email photos to Judith Epstein-Williams no later than midnight on the Tuesday before each meeting. Judy’s contact info is in the Membership Directory if you have questions.

Stop by the Free Table from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Judy Grady’s home and check out/return library books at Cher delaMere’s home from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. See more via the Calendar tab, and find addresses in the Membership Directory.

Participants who donate $10 to the guild receive a UFO Mystery Bag with an incomplete fabric project for you to finish. Attend a free Virtual Sewcial on October 9th for advice and camaraderie as you sew. Complete your project by December 7th to be featured in our monthly Sew & Tell and to be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to a nearby fabric shop. Details here. Contact Maren with questions.

Curbside Outreach takes place on the first and third Saturdays of each month (unless a stay-at-home order is reimposed). See dates via the Calendar tab, and click here for more info.
