Welcome to the San Francisco Quilters Guild

Community In a Time of Crisis

The San Francisco Quilters Guild has boldly embraced new forms of community while our usual in-person activities are on hold during the pandemic. Please stay safe—and stay connected with your fellow quilters—through these guild initiatives:

  • Our October 20th meeting will be a Zoom introduction to the Boro Aesthetic with Jody Alexander, open to both members and visitors. Click here to register.
  • Register for a Zoom Sewcial workshop on English Paper Piecing on Saturday Sept. 26, from 10 a.m.–noon. Alex Byrne will introduce this fun form of patchwork and participants will make pincushions. Click here to sign up. For members only.
  • Sign up for a Zoom Sewcial workshop on October 25th with Julia McLeod; it’s called Smithereens! For members only.
  • A recording of our September presentation on the Sewcial Justice Sewing Academy will be available for one week via the Members Only tab above. Our August 18th Zoom Sew & Tell is available in the same location.
  • Community Outreach is open for curbside business! Click here for pick-up and drop-off information.
  • See our other initiatives—outdoor Free Table, access to the guild’s library books, and more—on this page.
  • For months of fun, try our new Lone Robin game. It’s part progressive quilt, part mystery quilt, with great step-by-step monthly slide shows on this page.
  • See what your guild friends are making via FaceBook and Instagram.
