Crossroads of Color, Opportunity Quilt 2013 -14
Calling all SFQG members - It's time to "get the band back together" and take our show on the road. Member participation on our Opportunity Quilt has been incredible! THANK YOU ALL. I promise there will eventually be an article naming our many block makers, Saturday Sewcial attendees, fabric donors, quilters, etc.
Please email me at email@example.com to sign up for a shift at any of the venues listed below.
Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF), Santa Clara Convention Center
******SPECIAL INCENTIVE ALERT********
Thursday, Oct. 17 - Saturday, Oct. 20
2 hour shifts every day + 16 White Glove shifts on Sunday
SFQG is buying tickets for volunteers who work a 2 hour shift selling raffle tickets or white gloving on Sunday. First come first serve. This is our way of thanking members for volunteering and encouraging you to come enjoy this great show.
San Francisco Bazaar (formerly Bazaar Bizarre), Concourse Exhibition Center, SF
Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013
2 hour shifts each day selling raffle tickets + extra volunteers to manage a hands on activity.
This venue is a great place to show our community how much fun quilting can be and encourage them to visit our guild.
*****I'm looking for someone to be in charge of our hands on activity. Please let me know if you are interested*******
Our drawing will take place at our April Meeting. We will do an additional (and separate) drawing for one of our members to win the 2nd quilt made from our Crossroads of Color blocks. Names of everyone who has volunteered will be placed in this raffle. The more you volunteer, sell tickets, etc, the more times your name will be added to the drawing.
Looking forward to another great year of sharing our guild with our community.
